Right of Access

The procedure to exercise your right of access will begin by making the corresponding request, which must permit having proof of the applicant’s identity, the information requested, the contact address for communication purposes and, where appropriate, the preferred method to access the requested information.

At the General Register of the Correos headquarters, located at C/ Conde de Peñalver 19 bis 28006 Madrid, from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All requests must include your full name, the requested information and your email address or postal address to receive the response.

If the reason for your request is to obtain information about our products, a specific delivery or if you would like to file a complaint or claim, you must use the form in the “Customer Service” section.

The personal data you provide in the request for access to public information will be processed by Sociedad Estatal Correos y Telégrafos, S.A., S.M.E. (hereinafter, “Correos”), with Tax Identification Code A-83052407 and registered office at C/ Conde de Peñalver, nº 19, 28006 Madrid (Spain), to manage, process and deal with your request for access to public information. The lawful basis for the processing of personal data is the necessity to comply with the legal obligations, incumbent upon Correos.  Furthermore, based on Correos’ legitimate interests, anonymised data may be used for the purpose of generating statistical analyses and reports regarding access requests submitted via the Correos Transparency Portal. Once your request for access has been complied with, or when the processing of your data is no longer necessary for the purpose, Correos will proceed to block and subsequently delete it. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation of processing or portability by post to the indicated address or by e-mail toderechos.protecciondatos.correos@correos.com.  You have the possibility of submitting a claim to the AEPD (Spanish Agency for Data Protection). You can also contact the Data Protection Officer, DPD or DPO, of Correos through the following e-mail address: dpdgrupocorreos@correos.com.
